Later on in the year 1238, U Ngal Gyi was able to create an elephant dance festival which had an elephant dance so as to show respect to this pagoda.
Traditional chin dance
It’s also known as Chin Bamboo dance. It’s a very difficult people done by the chin people which requires a lot of focus, synchronization and precise coordination among the dancers and those who hold bamboos so that they can avoid getting hit by these bamboos. It’s usually performed during the harvest festival, crop festival and national day so as to celebrate the success of the local people.
